CUPCAKES TO MANZA CHRISTMAS CHARITY BAZAAR

My hand feel so numb and eyes is popping out ...haha... don't worry, I am ok, just feeling very exhausted after staying in the kitchen for the entire day. However, I am feel a sense of fullfilment and happiness right now coz I know I am helping those children who really need our helping hand. Although my little help is not very significant but with all the good hearted people out there, anything is possible right.

Met Nikki from MANZA just now, she is one lovely lady. I am delighted when she told me that she loves all the cuppies I did:) (at least all my hard work didnt go to waste haha) I handed her all the yummy freshly bake cupcakes and brownies for The Manza Charity Fair tomorrow and all the donations will be forwarded to the following parties who really need our help!!

· The Happiness Centre - caring for physically challenged children in Malacca
· EDUCARE Tuition Centre - teaching poor and needy children in Klang
· Rumah Kanak Kanak Impian - sheltering disabled children in PJ
· Puchong Indah Clinic and Tuition centre - providing health care and education for disadvantaged families in Puchong
· WAKE - giving shelter and support to children and women suffering with Aids in KL
· MAGIC - offering learning for intellectually challenged children in PJ
· Rumah Kanak Kanak Angels – looking after orphaned and abandoned children in KL

It has been a hectic week for me. Just got back from Europe and China and I was short of time to prepare and design the perfect wedding cake for Nuyou's Wedding Cake Spread and Christmas Cakes Special for Parenthood magazine. Anyway, thank God everything has gone perfectly well as per planned. Leon the photograher and Theresa the editor cum photographers has done a great job for taking lotsa beautiful shots for my master piece. By the way, do check out the Dec 07 Issues for both magazines. :) Oh ya, I would like to take this great opportunity to thank Nuyou and Parenthood magazine for featuring us. Thanks Girls.

I have also done a Giant Chelsea Football field cake and Belgium dark chocolate cake, all time favourite Yoghurt Cheesecake and Banana Crumbles this week for a few friends of mine, tiring week but full of satisfaciton. haha.

Phew...although this few months are going to be a busy for me, but somehow baking has already become part of my life besides my advertising career.. Bake with passion and love is the key to have the perfect master piece. Late nights, hardwork, heat, sweat, wrist pain(due to piping / creaming work) already pay off and all worth it after knowing that all my clients are happy with all the pieces that I have done for them...Thanks again for supporting Cakesmaniac.
